For our second class presentation, we were divided into the same groups we had for the first presentation and had a project assigned. Each group had to choose a topic between climate, infrastructure, or gender inequality.  We were also assigned certain chapters from the SPC1017 book, in which we did study guides for, relating to the chapters information.  As well as, create a brochure about the theme we had chosen. The first part of our project that was due was the agenda. In the agendas, each group included their topic, with the group members name, subtopic, and outline of what their presentation was going to be about and what each member was going to be presenting. Then each group started to do research on their topic and what they were going to discuss and explain to the class throughout the
presentation. The first group to present was my group, group 1 with the topic of infrastructure. This presentation to me was very interesting since I went into it not knowing much about the topic. We started by introducing what infrastructure is and how it can be so important to our country in our every day life. Infrastructure is divided for example, into technology, construction, and transportation. I believe, we, as a group did an outstanding job in providing background information, charts, graphs and even an interview to explain how infrastructure affects us. Then we also gave examples on how infrastructure is impacting the U.S and the future plans that the government has for it. I, in specific, had the sub-topic of local organizations. In my slides, I included how there are organizations that work non-profit to fund the repairs of our roads in the United States, just so we as a community have less traffic and accidents. I stated the expenses of three main roads that were chosen by an organization to fund, I realized the expenses and hard work the company had to face to better our community. I was able to learn a lot of new things on infrastructure and how construction works in the U.S.

This photograph shows an example of plans that programs plan to improve the country's infrastructure.

The second group to present was group 2, and their topic was gender inequality. They first started by making an agenda and creating different subtopics. Then multiple group members were assigned one subtopic, which was what they had to do their research and presentation on. I believe the group worked very well together, everybody communicated thoroughly and they presented their slides without an issue. From introducing their topics till the very end, the topics were well explained and detailed. I personally liked this presentation because I believe it is an important topic that has caused a lot of chaos in our community. This topic was educating many of the importance of everyone disregard their gender, we are all equal.

The scale shows how men and women are balanced even when both put on the scale. Disregard the gender, they are both equal.

The last group to present was group 3 and their topic was climate change, They started the presentation with good, basic but detailed background information on what climate change really is. While informing the class, they did an amazing job in showing visuals and videos. Then they moved on to the causes of climate change and how it affects us humans and wild life. Afterwards, the group presented the effects of climate change and showed many visuals and graphs to get their point across. Group #3 presented this topic with ease, using different forms of examples, in forms of images, videos, etc.

An image showing how planet Earth is divided into two halves due to climate change. The good and the bad can be shown through this picture.

Overall, all three groups did an outstanding job in presenting their chosen class topic. The groups developed brilliant ideas to develop a further education for each of their classmates' understanding. The groups have definitely grown altogether since this is not the first time working together. The members in the groups by now are more comfortable with each other, allowing the communication to flow better and the work through the presentations be more educational and outstanding. Once again, the groups never fail to amaze me while presenting such conflicted topics. Round of applause for the entire class!
